L-Ement Natural Skin Care Story
L-Ement Founder and Make-Up Expert Tina Teoli was born into the creative arts, with strong foundational skills in drawing and painting. She fully immersed herself in the process of forging a career path in the science and art of skincare and beauty. Utilizing mundane jobs as platforms to ultimately make a leap of faith into the world of film and television in 1993.
“In my early thirties I decided to make a drastic change in my life after watching a clip about movie make up, and a light bulb came on!”
While in make-up school learning about skin aesthetics, prosthetics, appliances, and film make-up applications she seized an opportunity provided by a post-secondary make-up school instructor. Tina soon found herself assisting a head make-up artist on a television series, now a fond memory and stepping-stone to mastery of skin art.
“There was no stopping me, I was hooked! The crazy, unpredictable creative world of film and tv was my home and I loved it. I went on to assist others and found mentorship under many talented make-up artists. They each taught me so much!”
Not long after, Teoli found herself as lead design Make-Up Head of Department in I.A.T.S.E., a film union for creative film technicians. Facing new challenged as they were presented, she learned whole-heartedly about every kind of face imaginable. the common denominator? Skincare. Every imaginable skin type became her signature focal point, procuring a stream-lined system for even skin-tone, glowing, healthy texture at every age. She outsourced aesthetic professionals for her A-List actors regularly, understanding at greater depths the value of their services to ease her daily applications in the trailer.
On her beloved career path, she crossed paths with a tall beautiful European woman of indiscernible age, Hana. “She was legendary, and introduced me to various cosmetic products, one of which more note-worthy than any other – a natural daily exfoliant! This product improved my skin texture within a week!”
Teoli referred countless actors and international talent to Hana for her expertise in skincare from within. Years went by, and eventually Hana passed-away from Alzheimer’s. Her company soon after dissolved and with it the elusive natural exfoliant along with some film insider beauty secrets.
“I tucked a bottle away thinking maybe one day I could formulate it, serendipity stepped in and I met an amazing cosmetic chemist through a friend, and I knew it was time. We re-formulated a clean version of the original formula, and L-Ement was born! Now available for you to enjoy the benefits!”
